MCYS names Terry Allemand to Board of Directors

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Montgomery County Youth Services (MCYS) is proud to announce Terry Allemand has been named to the agency’s Board of Directors.

“Terry is a great addition to the MCYS Board of Directors,” said John Bracken, Executive Director of MCYS. “He is very passionate about the agency and the work we do for children and families. We believe his experiences have given him great wisdom and will allow him oversee the direction of MCYS effectively.”

Allemand’s professional experience includes over 30 years of tenure at Entergy Texas. While he recently retired from his position as Regional Customer Service Manager, during his time at Entergy Texas, Allemand conducted numerous marketing, customer service, economic development and other assignments.

Prior to being named to the MCYS Board of Directors, Allemand served with several other organizations; he was a member of the Board of Directors for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Partnership, Education for Tomorrow Alliance and United Way of Montgomery County. He was also previously a Chairman of the Leadership Montgomery County Steering Committee and graduated from Montgomery County Leadership in 1999. Additionally, Allemand is a member of The Woodlands Rotary Club.

Allemand is a native Louisianan and a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Louisiana.
