Support the arts and win a beautiful oil painting

CONROE, TX -- The Conroe Art Leaggue has announced it is raising funds for its programs through an art raffle taking place now through July 5. For each $10 donation made to the league, one ticket will be entered into a raffle to win a beautiful original oil painting by Elif Burduroglu.

"I am a self taught artist who has been painting full time since 2008. Although my subject matter varies, my main aim is to create beautiful paintings that evoke an emotional response in the viewer so that they can make a connection with my work," said Burduroglu. "In this floral painting, I used a lot of palette knife and applied the paint thickly, not trying to make a very realistic painting but rather trying to create a loosely painted semi abstract still life with rich colors and textures."

The winning ticket will be drawn on July 5th at the Artist Reception; participants do not have to be present to win. Raffle tickets may be purchased online at https://conroeartleague.com/event-6187916 or in the gallery at 127 Simonton Street, Conroe, where you can see the piece in person.
