Conroe Fire would like to remind our citizens to stay vigilant as we maneuver through this situation. Roadways continue to be dangerous with accumulations of ice still possible. Please stay home and off the roadways, if at all possible. It is anticipated that this danger may exist at least through Friday.

Power outages also continue to be a problem. Please take precautions to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning while staying warm. Do not run generators inside, or cars in an open or closed garage. Do not use a gas oven to heat your home or burn anything in a stove or fireplace that is not vented.

Conroe Fire stands ready to respond and is actively monitoring the situation. We will provide updates as further information becomes available.
