MONTGOMERY, TX -- Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston announced today that Brian Bailey has been named the new executive chef.
Brian joins the resort after spending time as the executive chef at the JW Marriott Houston by the Galleria. His experience also includes serving in different culinary roles at the Marriott Marquis Houston, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa, and Hotel Derek.
“I’m a strong supporter of the slow food movement and believe in using the best ingredients without manipulating them too much,” said Brian. “I’m a local Texas boy who spent time in Southeast Asia, so that influence is reflected in my cooking. I love barbeque and everything about Texas and look forward to sharing that passion with guests of Margaritaville Lake Resort.”

The six restaurants on the resorts’ 186 lake-front acres include Landshark Bar and Grill, License to Chill Bar & Café, the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar, the Lone Palm Pool Bar, Joe Merchant’s Coffee and Provisions, and the recently opened Boathouse Bar and Lounge.
