Conroe Art League features 'La' Madeley Jewelry Trunk Show' Nov 27 & 28

CONROE, Texas - The Conroe Art League Conroe Art League will host a special two-day event at their Madeley Gallery entitled “La’ Madeley Jewelry Trunk Show." The event starts Friday, November 27, from 1 to 9 p.m., which includes a reception from 6 - 9:00 p.m. The show will continue through Saturday, Nov. 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event kicks off on 'Black Friday,' which is emphasized with black display boards, and includes black drapes, black vases, and black pedestals.

Eight prize-winning area artists will be featured who include...Karen Black, Bibi Blonn, Lori Hofferber, Martha Ezell, Kathryn Marks, Tammie McDonald, Golda Rader, and Audean Riley. Hundreds of unique signed jewelry pieces will be beautifully displayed, consisting of semi-precious stones, and a variety of materials such as ceramics, dichroic glass, leather, and wood, and using a variety of of metals such as silver, brass, and copper.

The Friday evening reception will feature live music, appetizers, and beer donated by Southern Star Brewery. The event will also inclued a raffle for selected jewelry pieces donated by each artist, and a gift basket donated by Southern Star Brewery. The raffle drawing will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Raffle tickets are 2 for $5, 4 for $10, 6 for $15, and 10 for $20.
