Texian Heritage Festival to benefit Montgomery County Emergency Assistance

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- When citizens throughout Montgomery County and surrounding communities joined forces to share their vision of bringing Texas history to life, they developed a plan to bring the biggest and best historical event the county has ever experienced to Fernland Historical Park in Montgomery – Texian Heritage Festival.
On October 19 those plans will become reality as dozens of reenactors converge on Fernland including the Texian Heritage Army and Encampment. Guests will be entertained with Texas Revolution era cannon fire, army camp live, equestrian (cavalry) demonstrations, and reenactments showing the significance of the flags of the Texas Revolution, along with the history of the Lone Star Flag.
Below you will find information about the Texian Heritage Festival, and you are invited visit TexianHeritage.org to sign up for the Texian Heritage Gazette…which will bring periodic festival announcements, updates and progress reports to everyone who signs up to receive our email newsletters.
We’ve also made it easy for anyone to join the newsletter email list by visiting our Facebook page where they will find a link marked “Email Signup!” at the top of the page.
