MCEA garage sale June 22 at Unique Resale shop

CONROE, Texas -- Montgomery County Emergency Assistance will hold a huge garage sale at their Unique Resale shop in Conroe, Saturday, June 22. Located at 1717 N. Frazier, furniture, clothing, artwork, and household goods will be available at bargain prices. The event will include kids games, trivia contests, and Quack E. Duck, the mascot of the 6th annual Entergy Duck Race, will be on hand to encourage duck adoptions from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The sale of merchandise and duck adoptions helps Montgomery County residents in crisis. Profits from the sale and duck adoptions help those in need, move towards self-sufficiency.

“We’re all one disaster away from needing assistance,” said Margie Taylor of MCEA, as evidenced in West and Granbury, Texas, and Moore, Oklahoma.
